Our club operates year-round from January to December, catering to both junior and senior members with tailored sessions to suit every age and ability.
Located at 87 Florence Avenue, Orewa 0931, New Zealand, our club proudly serves the entire Hibiscus Coast area. Nestled in the Rodney District of Auckland, we’re a central spot for badminton enthusiasts looking for a community to call their own. Club Nights and Membership Details
Our club nights are the heartbeat of our community. For seniors aged 16 and over, we host sessions every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 pm onwards. During the main season from March to October, these club nights are free for members, offering a fantastic opportunity to play without additional costs. Juniors aged 8 to 15 can join us from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on the same days, with sessions focused on foundation skills, fun, coaching, and tuition. Spaces for juniors are limited, so early registration is recommended.
Membership at Orewa Badminton Club is structured to suit different levels of commitment. A full membership costs $135 per year and includes access to interclub competitions, BNH tournaments, association fees, and registration. For those looking for a more casual experience, our social membership is priced at $100 annually, excluding interclub participation but allowing members to purchase court tags at discounted rates. Memberships run on a calendar year basis from January to January. Unfortunately, due to unprecedented attendance, we are currently unable to accept casual players. However, visitors are welcome to come and view our games and facility before committing to membership. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
