Welcome to Ohaupo Athletics Club

Bring your child to experience the excitement of athletics with Ohaupo Athletics Club, a community-focused sports club catering to young athletes aged 4-13. We’re all about creating a welcoming, social environment where kids can develop their skills, make friends, and enjoy the thrill of physical activity. Operating during Terms 1 and 4, our club meets every Wednesday evening from 6pm to 7pm on the lower fields of Ohaupo Memorial Park. While our primary focus is on fun and participation, registered members also have the fantastic opportunity to compete at official Athletics NZ events, blending casual enjoyment with competitive spirit.

Conveniently based at 17 Forkert Road, Ōhaupō 3803, our club calls the scenic Ohaupo Memorial Park home. Nestled in the heart of Waikato, Ōhaupō is a tight-knit community that provides the perfect backdrop for family-friendly activities like athletics. Our location ensures easy access for families across the region, making it simple to join our weekly sessions. The lower fields at the park offer a safe and spacious environment for kids to run, jump, and throw, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Waikato area.

Joining Ohaupo Athletics Club

Getting involved with Ohaupo Athletics Club is easy and affordable. Our registration takes place on Wednesday, 19th October, from 6pm to 6:30pm at Ohaupo Memorial Field. The cost is just $30 per person or $60 per family, covering both Term 4 and Term 1. There’s also a refundable uniform bond of $10 per person, ensuring everyone looks the part on the field. The first night of the year is Wednesday, 26th October, from 6pm to 7pm, and the last session for the year wraps up on Wednesday, 7th December, at the same time. Whether your child is a budding sprinter or just looking to have fun, our athletics club in Waikato is the place to be.
