The NZ Alpine Club (Southland) warmly welcomes members and others to our section evenings, creating a space where all are welcome to share a passion for the outdoors. As the Southland section of the New Zealand Alpine Club, established in 1891, we exist to encourage mountaineering, rock climbing, and allied activities. Our focus is on the enjoyment and conservation of mountain regions, bringing together those interested in climbing and tramping. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every second month at 7:30 pm, providing an open opportunity for non-members to join us and experience the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts.
