Hidden in the scenic suburb of Newlands, our tennis club is ideally situated at 26 Black Rock Road, offering easy access for local players and families across the Wellington region. Club Days and Seasonal Play

At Newlands-Paparangi Tennis Club, we keep the action going year-round with structured club days and seasonal schedules. During the summer season, from October to March, join us for Wednesday night club days starting at 6pm or the first Sunday of each winter month from 1-3pm. Seniors can enjoy dedicated sessions on Tuesdays at 6pm for ladies and Thursdays at 6pm for mixed play, while winter brings Sunday morning sessions for juniors at 8.30am and seniors from 10am. These regular meetups foster camaraderie and competition among our members.

Junior and Senior Programmes

Our club is proud to support players of all ages with tailored programmes. Juniors aged 5-17 can benefit from coaching on Thursday afternoons, as well as a summer coaching programme on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3.30pm, with days depending on age. Junior interclub matches are held on Sunday mornings, while seniors compete in interclub competitions on Saturdays. These opportunities ensure everyone, from young beginners to experienced players, can grow their skills and enjoy the sport in a supportive Wellington tennis community.

Membership Options for All

Joining the Newlands-Paparangi Tennis Club is affordable and flexible, with membership options to suit every player. Junior membership for ages 5-17 is just $140 per season, while senior membership for those 18 and over is $230 per season. We also offer a social senior membership at $170 per season for those who prefer a less competitive experience. Families can take advantage of our comprehensive package at $430 per season, covering two adults and up to three children.
