Our Location in Nelson

Housed in the stunning region of Nelson, our club operates from the heart of Tāhunanui, a vibrant area known for its proximity to breathtaking natural landscapes. Nelson is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with its rolling hills, dense forests, and rugged coastlines providing the perfect backdrop for 4WD adventures. Our base at Muritai Street, Tāhunanui, serves as the starting point for many of our regular trips, where members gather to plan epic cross-country drives and skill-testing challenges. Being in Nelson allows us to explore some of the most scenic and demanding terrains in the country, making every outing unforgettable.

Additionally, we provide driver training sessions for those looking to master their 4WD vehicles, equipping members with the knowledge and confidence to tackle any terrain. Our commitment to safety and skill development sets us apart as a leading 4WD club in the region.

Community and Collaboration

Beyond the thrill of off-roading, our club plays a vital role in the Nelson community. We proudly co-operate with Search and Rescue teams when needed, offering our expertise and vehicles to assist in critical situations. Furthermore, we are registered with Civil Defence Authorities, ensuring we’re prepared to support the wider region during emergencies. This sense of responsibility and camaraderie is at the core of our club’s ethos. We meet on the first Wednesday of every month at 7pm at Ocean Lodge on Muritai Street, Tāhunanui (except in January), providing a regular space for members to connect, share experiences, and plan future adventures.
