Conveniently located at Nelson Airport on McLaren Drive, our club is perfectly positioned for aviation enthusiasts in the Nelson region. Having moved to this site in the late 1930s, and finally settling into our current hangar in February 1996, we’ve become a familiar presence at the airport. Nelson, known for its stunning landscapes and sunny climate, provides an ideal backdrop for taking to the skies. Whether you're a local or visiting the area, our aero club offers a unique way to explore the beauty of the region from above. Our history in Nelson dates back to our early days at Saxton Field, reflecting our deep roots in the community.

Our Offerings and Community
