This prime location allows us to explore the breathtaking landscapes of the Tararuas and surrounding regions with ease. Whether it’s a quick Sunday jaunt nearby or a longer overnight trip venturing further afield, our tramping adventures showcase the diverse natural beauty of Wellington. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month (except January) at 7.30pm, providing a fantastic opportunity for visitors and prospective members to join us, meet the team, and learn more about upcoming trips.What We Offer

Our trip categories are designed to cater to everyone: Easy trips last 4-6 hours with plenty of rest stops, while Fit trips push the boundaries with over 6 hours of challenging terrain and off-track exploration. Most weekends, we organise local Sunday trips or extended overnight excursions, ensuring there’s always an adventure waiting. Additionally, our monthly meetings often feature guest speakers or training sessions, enriching your tramping knowledge.
