With a single cotula green available for play every day except Monday, we provide ample opportunity for members and visitors to engage in this classic sport. Whether you're looking to learn the ropes or refine your technique, our club offers coaching for learners along with the provision of bowls to get you started. Just remember to wear flat shoes and you're ready to roll! Our regular schedule includes casual roll-ups on Sundays and Wednesdays at 1:30pm, as well as organised competitions every Saturday at 1:30pm during the season, which runs from mid-September to mid-April.

At Karori Bowling Club, we’re more than just a place to play lawn bowls. Our fully licensed bar hosts a popular Happy Hour every Saturday after 4pm, providing the perfect way to unwind after a game. For those looking to host an event, our venue is available for hire, accommodating up to 60 people for functions. Hiring our space includes access to all club facilities, such as the lounge, kitchen, BBQ, pool table, dartboard, and even the use of club bowls for your guests. While we don’t allow BYO, bar service can be arranged at an additional charge to ensure your event runs smoothly. This makes our club a fantastic choice for birthdays, corporate events, or community gatherings in Wellington.
