Tucked away in Kilbirnie, Wellington, our club operates out of the state-of-the-art Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre. This central location makes us easily accessible to families and players across the region. Joining Harbour City Hawks

At Harbour City Hawks, we make it easy to get started in water polo. Most of our younger players join us between the ages of 9-11, often after trying the sport through a primary school team and wanting to take their skills to the next level. However, we welcome players at any age, from U14, U16, U18, and U21 right up to senior levels. You might be transitioning from a school team, moving to Wellington from another area, or even switching from related sports like club swimming, surf lifesaving, or underwater hockey. As long as you’re a confident swimmer, no prior experience is necessary to join our ranks. Our club fosters a supportive environment where everyone can grow, compete, and thrive.
