Your Guide to Toastmasters Club MeetingToastmasters Club Meetings give participants the chance to practise speaking and leadership skills in a friendly, supportive setting. Each session runs for around 90 minutes and your first 3 meetings are free to attend as a guest after which you will be invited to join. People aged 18 and over are welcome, whether they are new to public speaking or looking to build on existing experience. The focus is on creating a safe space where members can try new things, receive helpful feedback, and grow together.Meetings combine prepared speeches, impromptu speaking opportunities, and short leadership roles that help everyone develop confidence step by step. Many attendees join to improve their communication at work or in community groups, while others come simply to meet new people and enjoy regular social interaction. No prior experience is required, and the welcoming atmosphere encourages everyone to take part at their own pace. Refreshments are provided during the evening, making it easy to chat with fellow members before and after the formal programme.By attending regularly, members often notice clearer speaking, stronger leadership abilities, and a wider circle of friends in the local area.
