Our club is dedicated to recreational boating and sailing in the stunning East Otago Harbour, located on the Otago Peninsula. We support a wide range of local watercraft activities, including yachting, power boating, kayaking, and more, fostering a community of enthusiasts who share a passion for the water. As a welcoming hub for boating lovers, we organise annual sailing regattas that bring excitement and camaraderie to the harbour. In partnership with Broad Bay School, we run a sailing school to introduce young members to the joys of sailing. New members are always welcome, and we provide practical facilities like slipway and ramp access for a modest $5 fee, making it easy for everyone to launch their adventures.

Community Engagement and Events

One of our highlights is the Monday evening community sailing sessions, held during the sailing season in school terms 4 and 1. Starting at 5.30pm, these gatherings encourage people of all levels to get out on a boat and experience the thrill of the water. The club is open to everyone, promoting an inclusive environment where newcomers and seasoned sailors alike can connect.
