Locations Across Wellington Region

Nestled in the heart of the Wellington region, our Kōrero Clubs meet at various accessible locations to ensure everyone can participate. Regular gatherings are held fortnightly on Thursday mornings at Johnsonville Community Centre, and on Saturday mornings at Te Awe Library in the city centre. Additional meetings occur twice a month on Thursday mornings at Alzheimer’s Wairarapa Office and Whanganui Cosmopolitan and RSA. For those in Levin, a coffee group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at Levin Library. We also support a Young Aphasia Coffee Group in the Hutt Valley, meeting monthly at a local cafe with varying times and venues, coordinated closely with our advisor. Other regional groups, such as the Lower Hutt group at the Seventh Day Adventist Church (fortnightly on Thursdays) and the Strive Communication Group in Palmerston North for those with aphasia, stroke, or brain injury, are available through advisor guidance.
